Get there early for the true hustle and bustle of the market. The bars and stalls are all intermingled in a maze of activity. The atmosphere quickly subsides in the afternoon, when many of the stores close down (weekends are always lively). There is a wide gastronomic variety of goods on sale, all of the highest quality.
