This park, is perfect for a relaxing few hours, especially for families or couples. It has a zoo, several museums, a lake for boating and a waterfall with sculpted horse and dragon hybrids, part-created by a young Antoni Gaudí. Designed by Josep Fontsère, the park is a good place to take a book, sit on one of the benches and watch people go by. The zoo contains 8,480 animals, some of them rare species, specially looked after and reproduced to save them from extinction, such as the Sumatran tiger, the pygmy hippo, the red panda and the scimitar-horned oryx.
