Finally
you have made it to the centrepiece of Barcelona, the beach-front.
It is hard to find another city in Europe which can equal the cultural
development of Barcelona over the last couple of decades. However,
a holiday is not the same without at least one day relaxing on the
beach. The beaches get packed in the summer months, which for some
can be a little overwhelming, but it can't be helped. Pick your
spot wisely, check for the typical loud-mouth who loves the sound
of his own voice and stick well clear of him. Salesmen with ice-coolers
packed full of every beverage ever invented will constantly remind
you of your thirst brewing. Look out for the hilarious doughnut
man who precariously balances 100 doughnuts on a tray on his head,
just for you.
