This is a delightful town with soft, sandy beaches and a palm tree-lined promenade. It's a favourite haunt of gay men and women, and the beach on a summer day can get very crowded, the town is also blessed with historic buildings, notably the 17th century Church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla and the Museu Cau Ferrat.
