Cadaqués

The World famous fishing town, with approximately 1,900 permanent residents, proclaims itself to be the jewel of the towns lining the northern part of the Costa Brava. During the 1950`s, tourism established itself in cadaqués, along with many other coastal towns, but no other town in the world has received so many famous artists like "the Dali town". Matisse, Picasso, Duchamps, Man Ray, Max Ernst, André Derain amongst others.

Culture
Various museums and different art galleries make Cadaqués an ideal place for a cultural holiday. The Dali house is located in Portlligat, a natural port, situated in a deep bay, enclosed by the Portlligat island with ant Antoni beach.

Sant Pere de Rodes
The Sant Pere de Rordes monastery is on the other side of the mountain from Cadaqués and it is considered to be the most important building from the romantic era in Catalonia. The best way to get there is on the Vilajuiga motorway or from the Selva Port. Various small roads also arrive at the monastery.
